Theron Evan Wilson

Mr. Wilson was born and raised in the city of Kokomo. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 2006 Academic Honors Diploma. He now attends IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis) pursuing a B.S in Organizational Leadership & Supervision, a minor in Communications and certificates in Business Foundations and Human Resources Management. He is graduating from IUPUI this winter of 2010! His plans for the future with education are to attend graduate school pursuing a M.A in Philanthropic Studies upon acceptance into the Center of Philanthropy in Indianapolis, IN. He also has future plans to pursue his M.P.A in Nonprofit Management & Leadership upon acceptance in the National Urban Fellows Program in New York City, New York at Baruch College.

At only the age of 22, Theron Evan is the youngest Executive Director in the history of the Carver Community Center. With his expertise in event planning and creativity with program development, he plans to take the Carver Community Center to a whole new level. It comes to show that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Theron has a passion working with the youth and serving his community. "The youth is our generation! Being strong role models in our communities will be key to working with the youth and projecting a brighter future," expressed by Mr. Wilson.
